Welcome to the website of Austrian triathlete Lisa Perterer. Lisa competed at the 2012 London Olympics triathlon. The race took place on August 4th at Hyde Park.
Currently she is preparing for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

About Lisa Perterer:
Born in 1991, Lisa has been a sports enthusiast since her early childhood. She started her career as a talented swimmer. Although spending a lot of time on swim training, she also enjoyed other sports such as horse-riding, biking and tennis. Around 2005 she started with her first triathlon competitions and was soon invited to join the local triathlon club.

Lisa Perterer, Triathlete Since then Lisa Perterer has moved up quickly to national and international competitons. Her name was also seen in the top rankings. As a result she became part of the Austrian junior national team, taking part in the world championships in Australia in 2009 and becoming the winner of the 2009 European Cup.

In 2011 for the first time Lisa Perterer started in the ITU World Cup Series. In her first race in Edmonton, Canada, she already finished in 3rd place. (VIDEO)

Lisa Perterer is not only known for her success in triathlon competitions. Many like her natural and friendly charms, good sense of humor and honest personality. She speaks German, English, some French and has traveled many countries to take part in ITU triathlon competitions.
