Welcome to the website of Austrian triathlon athlete Lisa Perterer. Born in 1991, Lisa is a sports enthusiast since her early childhood. She started her career as a talented swimmer. Although spending a lot of time for swim training, she also enjoyed other sports such as horse-riding, biking and tennis with her dad. Around 2005 she started with her first triathlon competitions and was soon invited to join the local triathlon club.
In 2011 for the first time Lisa Perterer started in the ITU World Cup Series. In her first race in Edmonton, Canada, she already finished in 3rd place. (VIDEO) Lisa Perterer is not only known for her success in triathlon competitions. Many like her natural and friendly charms, good sense of humor and straight-forward tell-the-truth attitude. She speaks English, some French and has traveled many European countries, Australia and the US.
